Why We Stopped Doing Anything Else
Poured concrete cracks here. Not sometimes, and not only when it is done badly. A slab is one rigid piece sitting on ground that moves every single winter, and it has nowhere to put that movement except into a crack.
The harder part is the expectation. People believe that once concrete is down it is permanent, and when it cracks in year three they feel cheated even when nothing was done wrong. We would rather build the thing that flexes with the ground and can be repaired one unit at a time.

What We Install and What We Do Not
We do not install asphalt or poured concrete.
We build in paver, natural stone, block and granite. Patios, pool decks, walkways, retaining walls, stone veneer, steps and fire pits.
People search for "paving" and mean two different things. Paving usually means asphalt, which we do not do. Pavers are individual units of stone or block that we set by hand, which is all we do.
